Riva Tritone 1954 – Desk Model
La Dolce Vita, preserved in miniature.
Born at the dawn of the golden era of the Italian Riviera, the Tritone marked the coming of age of the wooden speedboat, and this desk model immortalizes that defining moment in flawless miniature.
It came after a post-war model and for years was the biggest model produced. It was equipped with two engines and was the right size to be a sea-cruising motorboat. It is the model that gave birth to the Aquarama.
Every curve of that legendary barrel-back hull is rendered here with the same reverence the Sarnico workshops brought to the original. Warmly varnished wood tones, crisp chrome fittings, and the unmistakable silhouette that would go on to inspire the Riva Aquarama: the Ferrari of the boat world.
A conversation piece for the collector’s desk. A tribute to the most beautiful era in maritime history.
